Top Paper Manufacturing Companies in India: The annual paper consumption in India is close to 15 million tonnes. It is set to cross 23 million tonnes by 2025. The demand is growing due to increased demand for packaged products.

Close to 2 million Indians find direct and indirect employment in the paper industry. In keeping with the changes in customer requirements, the manufacturers are investing heavily to upgrade the production facilities.

Paper Industry in India

The paper and paper products market in India stands at more than $8 billion in 2019. It is set to touch $13 billion in 2024 at a CAGR of 7%-plus. The 10-year projected CAGR for the industry is between 7 and 8%. As per the research the per capita paper consumption per annum in the country is about 15 kg, where the the global consumption is about 57 kg. It is as high as 200 kg in North America.
